My brother in law suddenly developed short term memory loss. Alzheimers has been ruled out. His last doctor says it is because of his drinking. Now he is not an alcoholic. He usually has two to three drinks a day. Somedays less. His family is after him to quit drinking. He is becoming depressed because of this nagging and because of the memory loss. I think he needs another opinion. Couldn't this memory loss be caused by some drug he is taking or inter action of drugs or the over the counter vitamins and herbs he takes. Where can I get more Info and who would be the best doctor to contact.
